Mast plan: The fight goes on...

CAMPAIGNERS against Vodafone's planned 3G mobile phone mast in Penarth massed at the site on the weekend to show their determination to fight the plans.

Members of the NoMIC residents' group and concerned members of the public met at the proposed mast site on the corner of Jubilee Lane and Clive Place. A spokesman for the group said: "This meeting allowed residents, supporters, and members of the public to show their strong objection to Vodafone's insistence in going ahead with the mast, despite continued protest and anger from the local community."

NoMIC are holding a public meeting to outline their objections to the mast, and to highlight the level of wider public concern that exists surrounding the issue.
