Tots get taste for healthy eating

MORE than 50 Tumble Tots members in Penarth enjoyed a healthy start to the day during the recent Eat Fit Keep Fit campaign.

Tesco at Penarth Marina lent their support by providing fresh fruit for the children attending classes at the Albert Road Community Centre, and parents were given a booklet full of helpful advice.

Getting children to eat the daily recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables can be very challenging for parents. Fruit is an important part of a healthy diet for children of all ages and this year's Eat Fit Keep Fit booklet provides useful tips to busy parents on helping children to eat fruit every day by making it more appealing.
