Penarth Darts results

THE Coro at home to the Pilot last Friday saw a close game, with the final results 6-5 in the Coro's favour

The Pilot took two of the pairs through J Clark x1 and P Wingren 100 x5. Coro won a point here. On target was A Bunce, with a ton from P Elliott, R Armstrong and D de Claire. R Armstrong hit a 135.

The singles were shared. For the Pilot, it was P Wingren 123 x8, T Perkins x1 and J Frost 125 100 x20. J Clark hit 121. Wins for the Coro came from P Elliott 121 140 x20, A Bunce 140 x2 and R Armstrong 100 x8. D de Claire hit 125 and 100 and B Poucher hit 111.

The Coro took both the threes through P Elliott x4 and D de Claire two 140s x20. A Bunce hit a 140 and P Drake hit a ton.

Labour Club, at home to the Dinas Wanderers, lost 8-3.

Wanderers won all the pairs through N Thomas 125 x16, D Jeynes 177 x4 and B Stavrakis x20. A Connell Jnr hit a ton for the Labour Club.

Wanderers then won four singles. On form were N Thomas x16, P Williams x4, D Jeynes x8 and B Stavrakis 134 x6. Labour Club hit back by gaining the other two points here from A Connell Snr x10 and captain C Connell x6. J Norton hit 120.

Both teams gained a point in the threes, with the first one going to Labour, with J Norton hitting x15 and finally C Williams hitting one of the hardest doubles on the board with x3 for the Wanderers.

Cogan at home to the Cefn Mably won 9-2.

Cogan won two pairs, through I James two tons x10 and T Stephens 180 x1. Cefn won a point here, with R J Walker hitting the double top with a ton from L Paterson.

Cogan won the next five singles through P Shapley x20, I James x20, M Wainwright 101 x1, T Stephens three tons x20 and W James x10. Cefn's only singles win was from S Paterson, 100 x1, with a ton from P Paterson.

Cogan won both threes through P Shapley x18 and I James x2, with two 140s from T Stephens.
