Aunt Peggy

HOW wonderful to see one of the town"s oldest and most highly regarded citizens honoured by the Friends of Belle Vue!

The smiling face of everyone"s Auntie Peggy - or conversely Miss Toye - brought great satisfaction to the masses of people in Penarth who have cause to be so grateful to her.

For so many years a most diligent teacher of piano and, likewise, the most conscientious and cheerful of post ladies.

Come summertime she can be found in the park supporting the men"s and ladies bowls teams.

A true and very proud Penarthian, 94 years young, "congratulations".
