MARIE Curie Hospice Penarth has a brand new bike up for grabs - totally free for one lucky winner!
Become one of 500 cyclists riding across Poland and other European countries in September 2006 as part of The Great 500 Cycle Challenge for Marie Curie Cancer Care - and you could be the new owner.
Chris Harris Cycles in Cardiff has very generously donated a brand new bike to the hospice and would like someone in the community to use it for training in the lead up to the Great 500 Cycle Challenge.
Chris Harris Cycles has supported many charities in the past.
Chris himself was diagnosed with cancer in 2002 but has fortunately been in remission for the past three years.
"Sadly, one in three people will be affected by cancer at some point in their lives; this is why the work of Marie Curie Cancer Care is so vital," Chris said.
The hospice is looking for other cyclists to join "Team Penarth" in its biggest fundraising event which will raise 1million for the charity.
Contact Emma or Rachal on 029 2042 6068 and you will be entered in into a free draw.
A lucky winner will be pulled at random and receive the brand new bike, completely free; the only provision is that they register as one of the cyclists on the Great 500 Cycle Challenge.
This exciting event gives the chance to see beautiful countries and meet new friends whilst changing the lives of those people with cancer.
The event is open to anyone over the age of 16 with a good level of fitness. Two routes are now full, but buzzing Berlin, coastal Gdansk and picturesque Prague still have places.
For the chance to win a bike and register for the Great 500, call 029 2042 6068.
