Fixing trains

IN response to Cllr Ernest"s tirade on Assembly Members regarding train services (Penarth Times, February 23).

I would like to make the point that Cllr Ernest"s time would be better spent reflecting on the fact that it was his Tory Government that fragmented and privatised the railways, and it has been up to the Labour UK Government and the Labour Welsh Assembly Government to try and fix the damage that his party left us.
