Too afraid

I AM writing to the Penarth Times with regard to the article about Mr and Mrs Denner Brown in the paper (March 16).

First I would like to say I hope Mr Denner Brown is feeling much better.

I can sympathise with Mr Denner Brown because I too have an electric scooter.

I am afraid to risk going to the town on it because the ramps are mostly blocked by parked cars or lorries.

I think this is most unfair, especially having a scooter, as it becomes one"s only way to get about.

Scooters are not a cheap item, and it is very frustrating when you cannot use it to go to your local town.

Therefore I would be very grateful if something can be done to help scooter users.
