Football match in memory of Kyle
A CHARITY football match in memory of a St Cyres pupil who was killed in a crash last year is taking place on Sunday.
The memorial game for Kyle Smith will be played at the Ely Rangers Ground in Wenvoe at 2pm.
Kyle was 16 when the car he was a passenger in crashed into a barrier on the Ely Link Road.
Last month the driver, Amir Baig, aged 20, was fined 1,000 at Cardiff Crown Court for careless driving.
Money raised from the game will be given to the charity Road-Peace, which campaigns for tougher sentences, and Breast Cancer Care Cymru.
