NHS dentist

THE situation with regard to dentistry in the United Kingdom is disgraceful.

However, the situation is being made worse by lack of information.

Is it true that someone on benefits, formerly registered with an NHS dentist, will be entitled to free treatment with the same dentist now working privately?

If so, could the Local Health Board, the Welsh Assembly Government, or kind local dentist please confirm this?

We know of people who are not going to the dentist because they believe they are no longer entitled to free treatment.

At the very least people in this situation should be informed of the nearest NHS dentist with whom they can register.
