EBBW Vale’s Beaufort Ballroom opens its doors to a new monthly comedy night, the Ballroom Blitz, next Thursday night at 7.30pm.

First up are two highly promising funny men in Andrew O’Neill and Mike Wozniak.

Dubbed as "one of the emerging barometers of hilarity" in Time Out, O'Neill isn't your usual stand-up comedian. Yes, he tells jokes. Yes, he makes you laugh but he does it all with an innate sense of absurdism and silliness and proudly displays one of the most inventive comic minds around today. Recently nominated as Best Breakthrough act in the National Chortle Awards, he is tipped as one of the stars of the future.

“If Comedy Nominee” Wozniak has recently returned from the Adelaide comedy festival and is busy preparing for his next Edinburgh show Clown Shoes.

Described by Time Out as a "new comedy hero" Wozniak’s assured stage presence and clever material promises to have you in stitches.
