FOLLOWING sell-out shows at the Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne comedy festival and stellar performances on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow on BBC One, inimitable Australian comic Steve Hughes is coming to Wales.
He is embarking on a debut solo tour in early 2012 that sees him come to Cardiff’s Glee Club on February 15 with a show, entitled Big Issues.
Hughes has been invited to perform at every major comedy festival in the world and recently joined Reginald D Hunter as a special guest on his mammoth nationwide tour, taking in over 80 venues playing to tens of thousands of people nationwide.
A former heavy metal drummer, Hughes has made a name for himself on the comedy circuit as an erudite, philosophical, highly opinionated and provocative performer, a paradoxical blend of laid-back charm and acute caustic anti-establishment humour.
