ONE of Britain's best loved comedians Jo Brand is coming to Newport's The Riverfront this April as part of her national UK tour.
With a new show, expect an evening of Brand's trademark razor-sharp and perceptive humour.
Widely recognised for her numerous live shows and television appearances, she has built a reputation as an uncompromising comic who deals head-on deal with issues that are sexist or sizeist with a rapier wit.
The Independent have hailed her as: "Britain's funniest female comedian in years."
The Times wrote: "The laughter never stopped the whole evening... at the finale, the audience would not let Jo leave the stage and cried for more.
"In true pop star fashion she resumed her position from behind the curtain and delivered a series of one-liners while the audience clapped and cheered."
