City boys following in footsteps of stars
NEWPORT singer-songwriting duo Jon Lilygreen and Jon Maguire are currently supporting Westlife on their Greatest Hits national arena tour.
The pair have also released a music video for their soon-tobe- released single Ain’t Love Crazy following the success of their debut single Come On Get Higher.
Lilygreen and Maguire have already built up a solid fanbase, having recently supported X Factor runner-up Olly Murs in his arena tour of the UK and Ireland.
The two are well-known within the south Wales’ music scene and came together in 2009, when their talent was spotted by Warner Bros Music, who secured a lucrative record deal for the duo.
Their debut album will be released later this year. The duo will perform at the Cardiff Motorpoint Arena on May 17, 18 and June 11.
