AFTER a headline appearance at Somerset's first Frome Folk Festival last month, award-winning all-male Welsh band Jamie Smith's Mabon will be taking their high energy inter-Celtic music to arts centres, village and town halls across the country.
On Saturday, March 24, they will play at Caerleon Town Hall.
Last year Mabon scooped the coveted best instrumental album honour (for their Porthcawl-recorded Live at the Grand Pavilion) in the 2011 Spiral Awards, run by music website Spiral Earth.
It is a record that is said to capture all the energy and pizzazz of their acclaimed live show and the album includes a free bonus DVD.
Tickets to see them in Caerleon ar available on 01633 422656.
