Music legends First Offence Pontypool date

THE legendary music act First Offence take to the stage of The Hog and Hosper in Pontypool this weekend with their own brand of blues and rock.

Consisting of Jack Hammer, Rob Hall and Bumpy Rhoades; First Offence formed in 1984 ultimately releasing three albums and featuring in session on the famous Tommy Vance Friday Rock Show.

Although probably not enjoying the success others of the same era achieved, they remained undaunted and have continued to tour ever since and have now performed more than 2,000 gigs.

The First Offence live repertoire includes classics by such artistes as Rory Gallagher, Johnny Winter, Cream and ZZ Top garnished with the band’s own individual style as well as their own material.

First Offence will play The Hog and Hosper on Saturday, entry for the gig is £3. Full details are available from hogandhosper.co.uk
