Fearne Cotton is to release her first cookbook.

The radio and TV presenter, who is expecting her second child with husband Jesse Wood, revealed Cook Happy, Cook Healthy will be “full of simple, fast and healthy recipes”.

“Most of the food you put into your body should have ingredients that make your skin glow, your hair shine, your body feel energised, your eyes bright and your kids and friends happy. Even the naughty treats can have good stuff in them too,” she said.

“If you love cooking and baking and are happy, like me, to whittle away the hours with spatula in hand then hopefully you’ll enjoy my ideas and recipes.”

The 33-year-old personality regularly posts pictures of dishes she has cooked on her Instagram account.

Amanda Harris from publishers Orion added: “Cook Happy, Cook Healthy will be a beautiful and inspiring cookbook. Fearne’s millions of social media fans have long enjoyed her foodie photos, and now they can make her recipes at home.

“With Fearne’s trademark warmth and encouragement throughout, this cookbook provides its readers with the confidence to eat clean but in a realistic, real-life way. It’s been a joy to work with Fearne on creating this wonderful book, I can’t wait to publish it.”
