BIG Mac's Wholly Soul Band are returning to The Paget Rooms, Penarth, by popular demand on Friday, June 20.
The band who played at the venue in January had such a good reaction that they have been asked to perform there again.
The band's leader Mike McNamara is of the opinion that this is due to the economic recession and the need for people to find a way to relieve their stress. “Dance events and bands of this kind seem to be having a resurgence and the people attending are looking to let their hair down and have a good time, and that's what this band gives them!
"Two hours of non stop classic soul and Tamla Motown hits played by a a fantastic nine piece band.
"Thats enough to make anyone get up and dance.”
Tickets for the event are available from Foxy's Deli, Penarth; Ticketline UK, Spillers Records and Script 2 Screen, Cardiff, also www.globalpromotionscardiff.com £12 in advance, £14 on the door. Doors 7.30pm.
