FRIENDS of the little Church of St Lawrence at Fort Road, Lavernock, are hosting a Flower Festival on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, from 10am to 4pm each day.
The theme we have chosen is the First World War, as 2014 marks the centenary of the outbreak of that conflict; we hope the flowers and memorabilia will form a poignant reminder for young and old alike.
There will be no entrance fee but donations towards the upkeep of this old church will be most welcome.
Parking for visitors is available on the left of Fort Road just before the church. We hope you will come and visit us.
