AS part of their Blooming Gorgeous campaign Dyffryn Gardens will be giving away free tickets and a small gift at the International food and drink festival in Cardiff bay on July 11-13.

Make the most of your summer holidays and enjoy Dyffryn Gardens in the sunshine absolutely free. Find the staff and volunteers at the festival to get your tickets; they will be easily identified by their bright yellow T shirts.

Dyffryn Gardens is a huge Edwardian garden, covering more than 55 acres featuring a stunning collection of intimate garden rooms, formal lawns and seasonal bedding. There is also a large glasshouse and an arboretum featuring trees from all over the world. Within the gardens, Dyffryn House, a grand Victorian mansion overlooks the gardens. Significant parts of the ground and first floors have been restored to their Victorian splendour but are left unfurnished so there’s plenty of room for kids to run around and play.

“We want as many people as possible to see Dyffryn this summer, now is the best time to see the gardens in all their glory as this is the time of year when everything is bursting into life. There are lots of activities throughout the school holidays for families so these tickets are definitely not to be passed up.” Geraldine Donavan, general manager at Dyffryn Gardens.

Each ticket gets in one adult for free with each paying adult and must be used by August 31.

The gardens are open seven days a week from 10am until 6pm until the end of September. The house is open seven days a week from 12-4pm.
