A STRAWBERRY Tea afternoon is set to be held in the Lee Hall and Gardens in Dinas Powys next Wednesday, July 16.
The event, a highlight of the summer, is organised by Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern and will start at 2pm.
In addition to cakes and fresh fruit there will be entertainment provided by the Georgia Jazz band.
The refreshments will be provided by the Women's Institute. The delicious strawberries will be donated by Huw Evans of Budgens, Cardiff Road.
Councillor John Fanshaw chair has warmly invited the community to support this annual event.

Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern is based at the Murchfield Community Hall, Sunnycroft Lane, Dinas Powys. It is open from 9.30am until 12.30pm weekdays.
