SECRET Affair will be performing at The Globe, Cardiff on Saturday, October 11 where they will be celebrating their 35th anniversary.

In a little over two years since their inception, Secret Affair posted five releases in the UK Singles Chart, having released three studio albums. Their debut single Time For Action sold over 200,000 copies and reached number 13 the chart. More success followed with Let Your Heart Dance, My World and Sound Of Confusion.

After the early formation of their now iconic label I-Spy Records, Secret Affair’s widely adored sound catapulted them to stardom. Regular appearances on BBC Television and Top Of The Pops came thick and fast, as did features in publications like New Musical Express and Smash Hits.

Despite their disbandment in 1982, 2012 saw the unveiling of their first studio album in over 30 years - the exceptional Soho Dreams, released on I-Spy. Showcased in March 2013 at Madame JoJo’s in the heart of Soho, it features the band’s new 8 piece line-up, complete with full horn section.

Continuing their mission to create a wealth of new music and lovingly revisit the old, Secret Affair comprises founding members Ian Page (lead vocals, trumpet and keyboard)

and Dave Cairns (guitar/vocals), complemented by Russ Baxter (drums), Ed Pearson (bass), Andy Fairclough (hammond), Stephen Wilcock (sax), Steve Rinaldi (trombone), and Tim Pannell (trumpet).
