TO CELEBRATE 10 years since the Wales Millennium Centre opened, they are offering an incredible opportunity to the people of Wales.

They will be offering free tickets to see Disney’s ‘The Lion King’, made possible by the kind support of Lloyds Bank, and it won’t be just a handful, it will be an entire full house of over 1,700 tickets to the November 26 show which is ten years to the day.

Mathew Milsom, Wales Millennium Centre’s Managing Director said, “Since opening 10 years ago the people of Wales have shown us so much support and loyalty. We as a Centre are indebted to the millions of people who have bought tickets for shows, contributing to our success as a business. Their continued support has enabled us to realise our ambition of bringing the best of the world to Wales and showcasing the best of Wales. We are also extremely appreciative of all the teachers, parents and supporters, including Lloyds Bank, who have enabled over 200,000 young people, many from disadvantaged communities, to have life enhancing arts experiences at the Centre.”

Allan Griffiths, Area Director, SME Banking at Lloyds Bank said “As a principal sponsor of Wales Millennium Centre’s 10th Anniversary year, Lloyds Bank is proud to support such a great project, enabling thousands of people across Wales to appreciate the arts for free.”

Mathew Milsom added “I can honestly say that the people of Wales have truly taken the Centre to their hearts. To show our gratitude we would like to offer the entire population this unique opportunity to join us for this performance of Disney’s The Lion King completely free on 26 November. This is also our chance to possibly welcome for the very first time some people who for whatever reason may never have experienced the magic of Wales Millennium Centre and its Donald Gordon Theatre.”

The centre is inviting residents of Wales to apply for a free ticket which will take the form of a ballot.

All you have to do is complete the form on their website at www.wmc.org.uk/LloydsBankPrizeDraw and is open to everyone over 18 with a postcode in Wales.

The draw opens on Tuesday, September 23 at 10am and registration can be done online, on the phone or in person at Wales Millennium Centre.
