AT THE National Museum Cardiff the Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA) will be holding their first series of ‘Artist in Residence’ show with the talented Rosaleen Moriarty Simmonds.

The show will take place on October 15 from 12.30pm until 4.30pm.

At the show Rosaleen will conduct a live mouth or foot painting demonstration to showcase that great art can be accomplished despite disability.

All the events will be free of charge to the public with the MFPA encouraging parents and grandparents to bring children along to help educate and inspire young people to see up close that disability need not be a barrier in the art world, or in life.

The talented artists of the MFPA financially support themselves by turning their uniquely produced artworks into products such as Christmas greeting cards and desk calendars that will be available for purchase in early October via a national direct mail programme or on-line from their web site www.mfpa.co.uk.
