THE latest painter to showcase his work at The Fig Tree Restaurant, Penarth is local artist Mark Robinson.
Mike Caplan-Hill, owner of The Fig Tree, says that Mark’s Penarth scenes hold a special interest for him as his painting of the pier was painted from the restaurant terrace.
“It’s a fantastic painting and shows the pier from an unusual angle, as well as showing our restaurant terrace basking in sunshine,“ he explains.
“I am a big fan of Mark’s other work too, and he has some very atmospheric paintings of our town, depicting not only the seafront, but attractive scenes inland.”
Mark’s work will be shown until early December and all paintings are for sale ranging from £70 to £100.
