PENARTH based rock ‘n’ rollers Lewis Clayton and The Cyclones are back in town and are set to play two local gigs over the weekend. The first one will be on Friday, October 24 where they will play at The Albion, Glebe Street, and then on Saturday, October 25 they are at Penarth Conservative Club for the regular end of the month dance.

Treasure Trove Fairs is holding an Antique and Craft fair at the Copthorne Hotel, Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff on Sunday, October 26.

There is free parking and the entrance is open from 10am until 4pm. Admission is £1.50 each and accompanying children are free, trade is £1 and students with a NUS card are £1.

New dealers will be present with Russian silver, works of art, jewellery, militaria, furniture, football memorabilia, vintage fashions, clocks, books and more which will please a keen collector.

Music at Lunchtime at All Saints Church, Victoria Square is in its second week with the next concert on Monday, October 27 at 1pm.

The music on this occasion will be provided by organist James Bull.

Concert goers are invited to bring along their own lunch and teas, coffees and soft drinks will be provided.

The lunchtime concerts continue every Monday at the Church until Monday, November 24.

Rangers are continuing their Go Wild autumn events for children aged 5 to 11 with a Bird Bonanza at Cosmeston Lakes on Thursday, October 30.

For the Bird Bonanza children will get the chance to investigate fantastic feathers, why birds have beaks, how to use binoculars and identify the water birds of Cosmeston Lakes through experiments and practical hands on experiences.

They’ll also be making natural bird feeders and feather crowns while hidden away in a secret bird hide.

It will cost £3 per person and children aged 5-7 must be accompanied by an adult with everyone meeting at the Rangers Office at 10.45am.

Big Talent Productions will be presenting their brand new show at The Paget Room, Penarth which will be filled with rock ‘n’ roll.

From Thursday, October 30 until Saturday, November 1 don’t miss their incredible performance of ‘We’re The Voice!’ featuring We Will Rock You.

The members from Big Talent Productions are aged between seven and 25 and have been working very hard and are excited to perform this new show.

The cast will be accompanied by a live rock band, and will also be joined by members of Little Big Talent, who will have their first time on the big stage.
