AT Ffotogallery, Penarth, they will be running a Family Fright Night on Friday, October 31.

This is a free event and is open to all ages. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

ON Friday, October 31 the Oystercatcher Hungry Horse in Terra Nova Way, Penarth is holding a Hallowe’en disco with DJ Luke from 8pm until late.

Team members at the pub will be dressed as zombies and customers are encouraged to don their best fancy dress. Entry is free.

A MACMILLAN Nurse Fundraiser will be held on November 1 at the Windsor Hotel, Windsor Road, Penarth.

The popular band ‘Mellow Down Easy’ will supply the evenings music.

There will some interesting raffle prizes including a chance to win a handyman and decorator for the day and a voucher to use at a local DIY store. You can also win the chance to see a chiropractor.

AN Autumn Fair will be on Saturday, November 1 in aid of Cancer Research. Held at All Saints Church Hall, Victoria Square, doors open at 10.15am and admission costs £1.

There will be stalls including cakes and savouries, white elephant, plants, preserves, raffle and others.

THE Dinas Powys branch of the RNLI is holding its annual “Breakfast Roll” on Saturday, November 1 at the Lee Hall, Dinas Powys from 8.30am until 11.30am.

This year they will be serving orange/grapefruit segments, a bacon roll and the usual bottomless tea/coffee. Tickets available from 02920 513515, from the Parish Hall or on the door.

RNLI cards, calendars and gifts will be on sale and there will also be a raffle.

THE next Archaeology Walk is on Wednesday, November 5 meeting at Sully Church at 2pm.

They will head along footpaths, and a bit of the coast to discuss Bendrick Rock, the mouth of the Sully River and missing harbour.

The walks are taken in all conditions and all are invited.
