STUDENTS from Penarth Athletic Club Art Class will be displaying their work in the Coffee Shop at Stanwell Road Baptist Church, opposite West House.

On Saturday, November 15 everyone is welcome between 10am and noon to come along and view the broad range of styles and subject matter on show.

Entry is free and you’ll be able to view local scenes, portraiture, wildlife and landscapes, along with the paintings, prints and greeting cards, a gorgeous range of freshly baked homemade cakes, tea and coffee can all be purchased.

Andrew Coslett, class tutor, will be on hand to talk about the class which is held every Tuesday at Penarth Athletic Club, Lavernock Road.

Work that will be on display include art by the classes youngsters students, Kitty, age six, and her sister Erin, age seven, who both attend with their grandmother Pam Armstrong.

Other exhibitors include Ann and Glen Boot, Anne Moore, Cynthia Calrow, Peter Blackburn, June Cole, John Thompson, Vicky Lewis, June Tomlinson, Caron Lewis, Eirlys Thomas, Len and Eugene Rainbow, Jennifer Hardey, Janet and Gerry Scicluna, Joan Hopgood, Janette Fox, Alyson Courtenay, Jane Thomas, Susan Sutherland, Dorothy Friend along with brothers Colin and John Rees.

The class offers tuition and guidance in a friendly and informal approach, covering many styles and subject matter.
