GREAT SOUL: Madassa Soul Band will be in Penarth
MADASSA Soul Band from Cardiff are performing their lively set of classic sixties soul covers at The Paget Rooms, Penarth on Friday, November 28.
They will be playing all the great soul hits from the Stax and Motown labels. Their repertoire includes classic covers of Mustang Sally, In The Midnight Hour, Soul Man, Hold On I’m Coming, Dock of the Bay and many more.
The band is fronted by local legend Laverne Brown whose distinctive vocals have been featured in shows by The Jools Holland Orchestra.
Tickets cost £12 in advance and are subject to a booking fee from Foxy’s Deli, Penarth, Ticketline UK or £14 on the door.
Doors will open at 7.30pm.
