IF YOU think you can sniff out the truth from an unconvincing yarn then an upcoming ‘call my bluff’ event in aid of the British Red Cross promises to be a wine tasting with a difference.

On Thursday, November 27 at the New House Country Hotel near Cardiff all Oenologists and amateurs alike are welcome.

The theme for this fun event is based on the celebrated TV quiz ‘Call my Bluff’. Participants are given various wines to taste along with wine tasting scenarios described by a panel of experts; however only one is describing the correct wine.

Sarah Austin, senior community fundraiser at the Red Cross says: “You don’t need to be a wine expert to enjoy the evening, just come along and be entertained. This promises to be a fantastic evening and all in aid of a brilliant cause - helping the British Red Cross in its essential work to support those in crisis both here in Wales and across the world.”

Tickets cost £35 per person with discounts available for a table of 10. A wine and canapé reception and cheese and pate board will be included and all proceeds will go towards the Red Cross.
