THERE will be three live bands plus a DJ at the Grand Christmas Dance in The Paget Rooms, Penarth on Friday, December 19. Lewis Clayton and The Cyclones headline the night with local rock ‘n’ rollers The Shivvers featuring Mal Clint, and the Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival in support. DJ ‘The Big Beat’ will be spinning the discs.
Tickets cost £10 in advance which are available from Griffin Books, Penarth town centre and Spillers Records, Morgan Arcade, Cardiff, or £12 on the night.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the event finished at midnight. There will be a licensed bar and raffle prizes.
So, for a great night out come along and get in the festive mood, and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes. It’s going to be a fun packed night of exciting retro sounds, with something for everybody, young and old.
