THERE will be a Service of Readings and Carols in Holy Nativity Church, Windsor Road at 4pm on Sunday, December 21.

At the end of the service, having sung the carols and listened to the readings, mince pies and punch will be served.

Blessing the crib in St Augustine’s Church has become a much loved tradition with children, parents, grandparents and friends coming from far and wide to see the infant Jesus placed in the crib, to hear readings telling the Christmas story and sing well-known carols.

The service on Christmas Eve will be at 4pm and the Rector, Canon Roger Williams, hopes that children of all ages will come and take part in this very special service.
