THE next Toys and Trains fair will be held on Saturday, January 10 at Penarth Leisure Centre.

The regular collector’s bonanza is back and will run from 10.30am until 3pm. This will be the first such event at Cogan this year but collectors need not to worry as there will be another fair held on Saturday, April 11.

Organiser Chris Dyer said: “Our venue in Penarth is second-to-none and is ideal for a toy and train sale being large, well-lit, easily accessed and clean and modern; Cogan Railway Station is next door and many of our customers make the most of the very frequent and reasonable train services, from all parts. We now offer in excess of 120 tables at the Cardiff show, and these are operated by more than 50 traders from all over Britain with the stock on offer, old and new, being quite unbeatable in quality and quantity. The Cardiff show is now firmly established as the largest and best such event in the whole Principality”.

Traders on the day will be buying and exchanging, as well as selling, and will offer free valuations on a wide range of toy and train related items, without any obligation. They will welcome any items being brought in for cash or exchange.

Top local caterer and charity fundraiser Rita Limbrick and team will be operating within the show and, as always, will offer both quality and value (by kind permission of the Centre’s management).

Chris added: “The Cardiff show is greatly anticipated by both traders and customers and is already fully booked with traders with some travelling from as far away as Cornwall and North Yorkshire”.
