IF your New Year’s resolution was to get healthy, why not head to Dyffryn Gardens to enjoy the fresh air, get some exercise and see the snowdrops.
You can get lost in the gardens and arboretum all afternoon and then warm up at the end of a brisk day with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake from their Tea-rooms.
There is plenty to see, from the arboretum and snowdrops to the abundance of wildlife. Also not to be missed is the enormous glasshouse which contains an exotic collection of cacti and tropical plants and is hot all year long.
The gardens are open seven days a week throughout the year; with the house open Thursday to Sunday until March 2.
