A NEW event taking place at Undertone, Cardiff will donate the proceeds of the night to The SAFE Foundation.

Le Demimonde is the first event of its kind in Cardiff, which involves a live music event that crosses into the digital world.

The event is a unique two part medium cross over run by a small group of local musicians that plan to revolutionise the Cardiff live music scene.

The event on March 18 will be a bi-monthly live music event showcasing three local indie bands.

Following the performances, there'll be a three track Extended Play (EP) released digitally through their website for everyone to download for free.

In future, Le Demimonde will be a three part event, starting with a small digital magazine publication with information about the bands and the business released a week before the main event and finishing with the release of an EP.

Headlining at the launch event is Rainbow Maniac, followed by two local bands on the rise, Albatross Archive, who'll be attending this year’s FOCUS Festival, and NYX.

All money raised on the night will go to The SAFE Foundation, a charity that helps developing world countries gain access to basic human rights like clean water, education and healthcare, while also promoting socially responsible lifestyles in the local community.

Tickets for the event cost £4, for more information call Undertone on 02920 228883.
