AUDITIONS for the summer production of ‘Annie the Musical’ will take place on Sunday, April 12.

The Big Talent School and Agency are thrilled to announce they are performing the show at St Cyres School’s brand new theatre in July and is looking for talented performers to come along to audition.

Shelley Norton (nee Barrett), director of Big Talent and Producer of Big Talent Musical Productions, said “This production is specifically for young performers and I’m looking for a cast aged seven to 19. We’ve got a strong core group that I’m hoping to build on to make this our biggest production yet”

Shelley added: “I did my Drama GCSE at St Cyres, even though I was a Stanwell girl so this really feels like coming full circle. The staff and Head, Dr Hicks, have been wonderful in the way they have welcomed us into their school.”

Shelley is keen to meet new young talent for all the roles, including Annie, but especially any young male actors aged 16-19 interested in playing the role of Warbucks, the millionaire businessman who takes Annie in.

He’s an imposing character and the role requires a young actor who can sing and act.
