DINAS Powys Players are rehearsing ready for their next presentation of ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’ which will be performed from Thursday, April 30 to Saturday, May 1.

The play has been adapted and dramatised by Tim Kelly from the classic thriller by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

For the forthcoming production Sherlock Homes most spine chilling mystery is placed in a Victorian setting of suspense, humour and terror involving a legacy that comes with a family curse of death at the fangs of a horror that stalks the moor.

Suspicion falls on everyone and everything – servants, ladies in distress, escaped convicts and even the supernatural.

Can Holmes and his loyal associate Dr Watson stop the hound and solve the mystery of the beast that roams the bleak countryside and terrifies the residents of Baskerville Hall and its isolated neighbours?

All will be revealed when ‘Hound of the Baskervilles’, directed by Phil Sage, featuring new group members, together with many of the actors who appeared in the group’s highly acclaimed ‘Calendar Girls’ and ‘Allo Allo’ productions.
