AT St David’s Hall this April there is plenty to watch throughout the month. April promises yet another action-packed month at the National Concert Hall of Wales with a schedule crammed full of diverse entertainment.

Plus, there’s top music from a few household names and a healthy dose of nostalgia added to the mix.

Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance take centre-stage for seven shows running from now until April 12. Dangerous Games is the latest breathtaking instalment in the iconic series, and is definitely not to be missed.

The ever popular Michael Ball will sing a selection from his recently released record, If Everyone Was Listening, on April 29 and Californian bluesman Seasick Steve will perform on April 28, singing music from his seventh studio album, Sonic Soul Surfer.

There’s limited seats left for super-group Mike and the Mechanics, on April 25, who will motor through their hits like All I Need is a Miracle, as well as top tunes from Genesis. Support on this special Saturday night show is provided by Starsailor singer James Walsh.

The Magic of Motown celebrates 50 years of legendary music from the likes of The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5 and Lionel Richie, on April 23.

Don’t worry if you prefer orchestral or folk music though – there’s the Capital City Jazz Orchestra on April 14 and BBC National Orchestra of Wales performing The Planets suite by Holst on April 18.

Plus, folk fans will love Stefan Grossman, who brings his beautiful acoustic melodies to the intimate setting of the Level 3 Lounge on April 21. But if you want to just let your hair down and have good old sing-song, there’s Sing-A-Long-A Sound of Music on April 30.
