HAMPTONS, Penarth will be hosting two fantastic nights in May, with the first – A Night in New Orleans – on Saturday, May 9.

Head to Bourbon Street in New Orleans for Hamptons very own Mardi Gras party.

As you feast on a five course Cajun style supper you’ll enjoy an evening of superb hot jazz in the company of the Keith Little Band. This lively six piece takes much of its inspiration from the music of Benny Goodman, Fats Waller, Duke Ellington and Count Basie amongst others. The band’s wide ranging repertoire extends beyond traditional jazz with an exhilarating repertoire that’s sheer enjoyment.

The evening is all about great music, delicious food. The café will be decorated New Orleans style and Mardi Gras beads will be handed out. So dress up if the mood takes you and join in for what promises to be a superb evening.

Then on Friday, May 15, will be The Best of Welsh.

In the company of the brilliant Aubrey Parsons Hamptons present an evening of great songs made famous by almost every Welsh singer you can think of including Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Kelly Jones, Bonnie Tyler, The Manic Street Preachers and many, many more.

This is a show full of hiraeth with a roller coaster ride of emotions from the gentle 'fishing-boat-bobbing-sea' tones of Myfanwy to the trouser ripping raucousness of Delilah!

Aubrey Parson is a hugely versatile vocalist and has performed for a glittering list of well known people including Sir Anthony Hopkins, Katherine Jenkins and Take That. Sir Terry Matthews said “Aubrey Parsons is Dynamite” and Kelly Jones of The Stereophonics said “The man can sing!”

Tickets for both nights cost £36 which includes live entertainment and a five course dinner.

To book you can call Hamptons directly on 02920 705391 or pop into the store on Ludlow Lane, Penarth.
