FOLLOWING last year’s outstanding success Penarth Pier Pavilion will once again be the venue for the Penarth Chamber Music Festival.
Under the musical directorship of David Adams, leader of the orchestra of the Welsh National Opera, an impressive group of world class musicians will present a series of concerts beginning on Thursday July 9 and concluding with two concerts on Sunday July 12.
The concerts will include music by Beethoven, Brahms, Ravel and Debussy as well as Schoenburg and Janacek.
The festival will be launched on Sunday May 10 at 3.30 pm with a concert featuring the Gould Piano Trio and David Adams, performing Brahms Piano Quartet.
Tickets for this launch concert are just £8 to include tea or coffee with an opportunity to meet the musicians after the concert.
