A ONE-off Doctor Who-themed charity event will be held at Penarth Pier Pavilion in September.
Former star of the show Sophie Aldred, who played the time lord's companion Ace, will be in attendance on Sunday, September 13.
Organisers have said: "Surely, by taking on a Dalek with just a baseball bat or a troop of Cybermen with a catapult and a bag of coins, Ace must be the most brave companion of all? This is your best opportunity to meet her."
This is the tenth event and so there are some special prizes planned. All proceeds will be donated to Penarth Arts and Crafts Limited.
The star of 31 episodes will be interviewed, take part in a question and answer session and sign autographs before a charity raffle is held.
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults and £5 for concessions as part of an early bird discount and people are advised to book early.
The informal event is limited to a maximum of 70 people. There are no charges for autographs.
