AFTER a smashing West End season, Tall Stories’ magical musical stage adaptation of Room on the Broom flies into the New Theatre, Cardiff.

The Olivier Award-nominated show, based on the bestselling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, comes to Cardiff from Friday 24 - Sunday 26 July.

A stormy wind blows away the hat, bow and wand of a witch as she’s flying along with her cat on their broomstick. A bird, a dog and a frog are very helpful in finding the witch’s lost things, but the broomstick snaps in two when they all sit on it. A hungry dragon soon appears, putting the witch and her new friends in danger.

The show blends together enchanting puppetry, original sing-a-long songs and scary fun, suitable for families with children over the age of three. As an added bonus there are special reductions for children under the age of sixteen at all performances, making it perfect for the summer holidays.

Room on the Broom is created by the critically acclaimed theatre company Tall Stories, whose credits include The Gruffalo, The Gruffalo’s Child and The Snow Dragon. For more information about the show, please visit www.roomonthebroomlive.co.uk
