The sea has always been a favourite subject for artists.
It is the one of the landscape's most beautiful and expressive feature. It is earth's mirror; looking into which, the beholder measures the depth of his own nature. It has many different characters; it can be serene, aggressive, romantic or mysterious.
That is why so many artists have attempted to depict it over the years, using a variety of mediums to express its many features, including painting, ceramics and calligraphy. The sea can hold the water from thousands of rivers; in its great capacity, it embodies inclusiveness and diversity. Here at Boundary Art, we hope different arts and cultures can converge in a similar way, achieving cultural inclusiveness and diversity.
