ON August 8 and 9, Dyffryn Gardens will have loads of ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ activities.

From roasting marshmallows on a campfire to firing rockets and kite building your family can explore Dyffryn Gardens all day.

Each outdoor explorer will be given an explorer headband, camouflage face paint and a 50 things scrapbook to set them on their adventure. It is up to you to search the gardens to find the activities. There will also be some creepy critters hidden along the way, if you find them all then you can be in with a chance of winning a prize.

Some of the activities you will be able to have a go at are; cook on a campfire, make and fly a kite, build a bug home, plant a seed, climb a tree and firing rockets as well as many more.

Normal admission prices apply. Activities run between 11am and 3.30pm both days.

Open all year around, Dyffryn Gardens is open 10am to 6pm, seven days a week all summer.
