DINAS Powys Community Cinema will be screening Still Alice on Saturday, September 5.

Julianne Moore won a Best Actress Oscar for her outstanding performance as Alice Howland, a linguistics professor who is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease.

The film, based on Lisa Genova's bestselling novel, mainly concerns the challenges she and her family face in dealing with the effects of the disease.

The excellent supporting cast include Alec Baldwin as the husband and Kristen Stewart as her daughter Lydia.

The Community Cinema is located at the Murchfield Community Centre in Dinas Powys.

Doors open 6.30pm and the programme starts around 7pm. All tickets are £4.50.
