COR Heol y March, is set to release their new CD this November in Penarth.

The children's choir based near Welsh St Donats, is the current holder of the S4C Cor Cymru (Choir of Wales) title and winner of the Children's Choir of the World prize at Llangollen International Eisteddfod 2014. They have recorded their CD for Sain, Wales' leading recording company, and features songs from the winning performances and some Christmas carols.

Recorded at Acepela Studios in Pentyrch, the CD features 14 songs and will be launched at All Saints Church, Penarth on Friday, November 13 at 7.30pm.

Joining the choir at will be soprano Ellen Williams from Cowbridge and young tenor Rhydian Jenkins from Maesteg, both winners at the 2015 National Eisteddfod.

Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for concessions with all funds being donated to Ty Hafan, the children's hospice in Sully.
