LUNCHTIME Music continues at All Saints Church, Penarth on Monday, November 9.

All the recitals are proving to be as popular as ever with music of the highest standard on offer – and all for free.

The lunchtime fare varies from week to week – medieval music on lutes, followed by a string quartet and then an organ recital.

Audiences thoroughly enjoy their time spent in the church – having their lunch cafe-style on the Gallery or concert-style downstairs. Hot and cold drinks are provided.

The recitals take place from 1pm to 2pm every Monday until November 23, when the lunchtime season will be brought to a close by Seumas Begg (Tenor) and Stephanie Jai Smith (Soprano).

In the meantime more instrumental music on piano, clarinet and viola and a surprise offering on November 16 are to come.

Entry to all the concerts is free although many visitors, in appreciation of what they have experienced, have felt moved to make donations.

These are much appreciated and will go towards a fund for the restoration of the All Saints organ. The church is fully accessible to disabled people and a warm welcome to all is guaranteed.
