NELL Bryden will perform at The Globe, Cardiff, this November as her only performance in Wales.

After a relatively quiet period on the live front, Nell Bryden announces this show as part of a short UK tour which comes to Cardiff on Monday, November 9.

Championing her 2014 album Wayfarer, and subsequently the release of three astonishingly good singles - ‘All You Had’, ‘Wayfarer”, and now ‘Waves’ (the last a vocal collaboration with Mercury Prize, Brit Award, and Q Magazine Award nominee Tom McRae) the end of last year and the beginning of this one has seen her soar.

Nell earned the place of BBC Radio 2’s Album of the Week with Wayfarer, shortly after going on to host her own exclusive pop-up Radio 2 show New York Nights - a celebration of the music she loves from both sides of the Atlantic.

Shortly after the culmination of her largest ever UK tour, peaking magically at Bluesfest in London, her first Christmas single May You Never Be Alone became her 13th consecutively playlisted single at Radio 2.

Its inspiration was of course the birth of her daughter Tala, a natural progression from her pre-album marriage to an Englishman, which she somehow managed to fit in around her significant efforts and achievements.

Tickets cost £14 and are available from gigantic.com or from Spillers or Mojo King.
