HORRIBLE Histories returns to the New Theatre with two world premieres.

The Birmingham Stage Company returns with its hugely successful family show Horrible Histories. From Tuesday, November 17 to Saturday, November 21, the Horrible Historians will be taking a hilarious tongue-in-cheek look at Groovy Greeks and Incredible Invaders.

Groovy Greeks will take the audience through a history of Ancient Greece, from savage Sparta to angry Athens. As well as seeing the Greeks take on the Trojans and the Persians, audience members will get the chance to compete in the first ever Olympic Games, appear in the very first play and come face-to-face with Zeus and the Minotaur.

Incredible Invaders will introduce children to the Ruthless Romans, the Savage Saxons and the Vicious Vikings. The exciting show will take audiences behind Hadrian’s Wall and along to Sutton Hoo. Caratacus will try to stop the Romans crunching his Celts and King Alfred will try not to burn his buns.

Horrible Histories is a unique theatrical experience that appeals to children and adults alike. Using live actors and their patented 3D Bogglevision, historical figures and events are brought magically to life. All tickets are £11 for children under the age of 16, with other tickets costing up to £21.
