HAMPTONS, Penarth, will be celebrating Chinese New Year in style with an evening of fantastic music and food.

Head on down to Chinatown (Hampton’s Blue Pelican Café) for a black tie evening to celebrate the Year of the Monkey.

In the company of Hamptons newcomer and cool crooner, Leighton Rafferty, you will be presented with a night of sophisticated big band style swing.

Paying tribute to some of the best swing and jazz music ever performed, the show includes classic songs as well as more up to date numbers from some newer performers who continue to celebrate this popular musical style.

Mr Rafferty trained at the London School of Musical Theatre and immediately after graduating he joined the 25th anniversary cast of Les Miserable both in the UK and abroad.

He has a unique tenor voice and effortlessly combines a trained classical sound with popular influences.

Combined with a delicious five course Chinese supper it promises to be a wonderful night out.

Tickets to the event on Friday, February 5, cost £36 each.

To book please contact Hamptons directly on 029 2070 5391 or visit them in person at their store on Ludlow Lane, Penarth.
