ONLY a few tickets are still available to see Ed Byrne at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on Saturday, January 30.

Whilst studying Horticulture at the University of Strathclyde, the deadpan Dubliner started a stand-up night called The Comedy Cellar at the 13th Note pub in Glasgow. Within a few months, Ed had quickly found his niche and quickly moved to London in pursuit of his dream.

After finely honing his observational comedy routine, Ed was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Comedy Award at the 1998 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Since then he’s been on several sold-out tours across the world and released three best-selling DVDs entitled Pedantic & Whimsical, Different Class and Crowd Pleaser. Plus, he’s now guaranteed to have you roaring with laughter with his brand new show Outside Looking In.

Ed has also become a familiar face on our TV screens since the 90s with his first appearances being on Blind Date and a cameo in classic Irish comedy Father Ted.

He’s also a regular on popular programmes including Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, The One Show, The Weakest Link, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Graham Norton Show.

Tickets cost £19 plus a £2.95 Ticket Service Charge per transaction plus an optional 95p postage fee.
